FROM: DONALD ELDER, "CYPRESS" LUMBER SPECIALIST
Part of this past week, saw the writer on two (2) day sales trip; My first in a long long time. This is not to arrogantly say, "we are so busy I do not need sales trips". I have been in this business for many years, and never knew the time or the sales trip that did not pay off then or later.
But, with my feelings known about sales missions, let me also share with you folk, at age seventy-three (73) I am unable to keep up the fast pace I had become so used to over the years, fifty-four (54) years in fact. More on that later.
Our yard foreman, Leo Aguillard, is requesting small pieces of equipment for use by his crew, under his good direction, for our warehouse. As soon as this equipment arrives, we should be able to speed shipments of our orders.
THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! Our order file seems to be growing daily. Our business is good. Too, several special orders were taken on and are slow getting through the plant.
There were a few very interesting projects being discussed but have been shelved for the time being, until our shipments get back into the 7 - 10 day range.
Be sure to look over our "SPECIALS" section! Great pricing / High Quality.
Kindest regards & GOD Bless You!
